As I reflect back on my April favorites, I can hardly believe it’s the end of the month! Here’s a look at nine things I have bought or enjoyed over the course of the past month and recommend to you.
9 Things I Enjoyed in April
- Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez:
- Grab your tissues and settle in for this touching romance, complete with fake dating, miscommunication, and a touch of spice. Abby Jimenez does it again!
- Salt and Pepper Shaker:
- We’ve been having people over for dinner more frequently, and I realized we didn’t have salt and pepper shakers for our tables. Cue these cuties. They are functional and aesthetic.
- Highest Waist ’90s Boyfriend Short:
- These are the perfect combination of loose but not baggy. They also find the perfect balance of not too short but not too long. Perfect for casual summer outfit. They fit me TTS.
- Car Trash Can:
- This is the product I didn’t know I needed. It fits inside the cup holder on the door of your car. I love it because now I don’t have rogue receipts or hand wipes rolling around, and it is extremely simple to empty out while you’re filling up your car with gas.
- Slushy Serum Moisturizer:
- This is one of my favorite purchases from the Sephora sale. I was planning to buy a hyaluronic acid serum. Ultimately, I bought this one because of the Bakuchiol, which is a natural Retinol alternative. And it gets a 90/100 on the Yuka app!
- Abbott Elementary:
- I devoured this show! As a former teacher, I could relate to some of the frustrations of the characters. And while this is focused on a struggling school, the characters and the writing make the show light and fun.
- Dolman Shirt:
- I am on a quest for “better than basic” tops, aka shirts that are nicer than a t-shirt but not too fancy, and this one fits the bill! It does run large, so I sized down for a more TTS fit, but if you want oversized then order your regular size.
- Lip Gloss:
- This is the second time I’ve ordered this lip gloss. I actually use it as a lip mask overnight. When I wake up, my lips feel so hydrated. It also gives a nice plumping effect for daytime wear. This one scores 100/100 on the Yuka app.
- Planters (1 & 2):
- I have been sleeping on Walmart’s indoor planters. Y’all. These are SO affordable and they have a drainage hole on the bottom. Affordable, cute, and functional!
